New Health Reform Videos Available through United for Reform Resource Center and Health Care Lane

Three new health reform interactive videos are available for download on the following topics and may be posted on your client’s internal websites to promote understanding of health reform for their employees:

  • Appeals: Learn more about appeal rights under the Health Reform law. If a health plan denies payment for a treatment that a member believes should be covered, they have a right to challenge that decision and appeal it.
  • Lifetime and Annual Limits: Learn about changes to lifetime and annual dollar limits under the Health Reform law. Lifetime and annual dollar limits for all policies will be eliminated in 2014. There are also gradual changes taking place before then.
  • Grandfathered Plans: Some provisions of the health reform law may not apply to grandfathered health plans. Learn about the requirements and exemptions for grandfathered health plans.
