Small Business Administration Kits Available on Employer eServices

Medical and Ancillary-only Administration Kits for current and new groups with up to 99 eligible employees and with at least one UnitedHealthcare medical, dental, vision, basic life polilcy are now available online at Employer eServices^®.

We will no longer automatically send paper copy administration kits to these employer groups; however, paper copies will be available upon special request. [Note: Groups with supplemental products (i.e. supplemental life, supplemental ADD, STD, LTD) only, will not be able to access their Admin Kits at Employer eServices; any materials will be distributed to those groups per the current process.]

• A main goal of the online kit access/delivery is to provide more cost-effective and timely distribution of the important group's administration information and materials.
• The delivery enhancement also futher supports our paperless/go green initiatives by enabling our customers to access their benefit information via our secured websites, like Employer eServices.
• Additionally, customers can access the kit materials conveniently 24/7.

Previous paperless initiatives such as our Electronic Certificate of Coverage project achieved expected online adoption rates ,with only 10% still requesting paper copies. We are anticipating similar adoption rates for these online administration kits.

Customer Notification
We will be sending an e-mail mid-September to all current employer groups that are eligible to let them know their administration kits are now available on Employer eServices. A sample of the Customer Connection communication is attached above.

We will also let all new group administrators know how to access their admin kits online at Employer eServices via the Welcome Letter that is sent to each customer upon case installation. [Note: Group administrators will need to login into Employer eServices to access their kit. If they provided an email address on the employer application, their Employer eServices user ID will be/was automatically sent to them. If they do not have an user ID, they are instructed to contact Employer eServices customer support at 1-800-651-5465.]
